Jeff Burrows was born in Dunedin, Florida. He played 4 years of high school baseball and graduated from Dunedin High School. He was the 1994 Steve Georgiadis scholarship award winner. After high school, he played baseball at St. Leo University for his Freshman and Sophomore year where he hit .333. After his second year, he transferred to St. Petersburg Junior college on a full baseball scholarship. In 1997, while playing for the St. Pete Trojans, he hit .397 and was named to the Suncoast Conference first team All-Conference and the Florida State Junior College All-State second team as an outfielder. Ultimately, he graduated from The University of South Florida with a BS in Psychology. Since the conclusion of his baseball career, he has spent time coaching young players from elementary to high school. He also coached baseball camps run by former Brewers scout Ed Durkin. Jeff is married to Jessica Burrows and they have a 9 year old son Jacob who also shares his love for baseball. They moved to Dothan in 2019.
